Subject: List Server Update

All,

Quick update on the List Server expansion.  Members have been migrated to their designated sections: SWOLDC (WO1/CW2); MWOLDC (CW3/CW4); and EWOLDC (CW5).

1.  Some of you still need to update your email with an AKO Webmail address. Go to www.us.army.mil and click on the new subscriber button.  Send your address with Rank, MOS, Component, and phone to woldn@leavenworth.army.mil  A lot of you already have an account, just need to update your data.

2.  There was a lot of keystroking going on to update the list.  Typos as well as inadvertent posting to the wrong sections could have occurred.  Some data may have been outdated.  You may have received a promotion or moved.  You could be enrolled under your old and new email addresses.  This could result in receiving multiple messages.  Send your corrections/updates
to woldn@leavenworth.army.mil

3.  Reminder - You may set up your AKO Webmail account to automatically forward messages received to additional email accounts i.e. home and/or current work email. To do this:

a.      Go to www.us.army.mil and Sign In
b.      In the My Army Portal box click on "Edit Personal Info"
c.      In the Forwarding Email Address box enter desired email addresses
d.      Click "Submit This Form"

You can suspend traffic coming to your work or home email by deleting their addresses from the Forwarding Email Address box.  This allows you to stop incoming traffic without having to unsubscribe from the List Server.
This may be desirable during extended absences or when there is a high volume of
"less than interesting"  traffic.  When you do not set up to forward, messages will still be
maintained at your AKO Webmail site until you delete them.

Thanks for your input.
